Job summary

Madison Honda in Clinton, NJ is seeking an Automotive Customer Service BDC Consultant. If you believe customer service is a craft built on charisma, communication and product knowledge, we want to talk to you!

The Customer Service BDC Consultant utilizes selling ability, computer skills, courteous phone manner and positive attitude to get clients in the door. You’ll work with Sales and Service to schedule appointments, update records and follow up on inquiries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with phones/telemarketing in automotive, customer service or related fields preferred.
• Ability to follow scripts, use power tracks, and present alternative choices professionally.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to engage customers positively.
• Organized, multi-tasked and able to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls per script and schedule sales appointments.
• Make outbound calls and log customer comments.
• Schedule follow-up contact if no appointment is made.
• Coordinate appointments with Sales and Service and update appointment boards.
• Notify departments when appointments are scheduled and reschedule no-shows.
• Generate follow-up reminders and respond to customer inquiries.
