Job summary

Madison Honda is seeking an Automotive Customer Service BDC Consultant in Clinton, NJ. The role focuses on handling heavy inbound and outbound calls, scheduling sales and service appointments, and maintaining accurate customer records to improve satisfaction.

You will use scripts and campaigns to contact customers, log interactions, and ensure timely follow-ups. The position emphasizes a friendly, professional demeanor and goal-driven performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with phones or telemarketing in automotive or related fields preferred.
• Professional, enthusiastic, and friendly attitude at first contact with any potential client/customer.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time-management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming phone calls according to script and schedule a sales appointment.
• Make outbound calls.
• Log all customer comments.
• Schedule follow-up contact if no appointment is made.
• Contact customers using scripts to schedule appointments for Sales and Service.
• Confirm scheduled appointments.
• Post scheduled appointments on appointment board in BDC.
• Reschedule no-show customer appointments.
• Follow up with Sales or Service to determine appointment outcome.
• Schedule future contact as needed.
• Purify and update customer changes in database.
• Generate letters, postcards, and emails for follow-up reminders.
• Notify departments when an appointment is scheduled.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
• Meet or exceed monthly goals.
