Job summary

General Matter seeks a software engineer to own and evolve the software infrastructure for hardware testing, HITL, and telemetry systems. You will develop automation tools, analyze test data, and enable fast, reliable validation across engineering workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development in C, C++, or Python.

• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement modular automation software in Python to support manufacturing and design verification.
• Write automation software for test article, equipment, instrumentation, and production docs.
• Enable test execution across HITL and virtualized simulations.
• Create algorithms to analyze test data and verify acceptance criteria.
• Develop tools to improve deployment, test execution, and data analysis in CI/CD.
