Job summary

Onyx, a venture-backed hardware company, seeks an Integration & Test Engineer to help build out testing infrastructure and integrate complex electrical systems from prototype through validation and commissioning.

Seniorities from senior to management are welcome, with cross-functional work across electrical, controls, embedded, software and mechanical engineering. This role emphasizes hands-on testing and system verification in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in electrical engineering, systems integration, hardware test, or related field.
• Experience building HIL/HITL, DAQ, testbeds, or custom test infrastructure from the ground up.
• Proficient with NI PXI, LabVIEW, TestStand, or similar platforms.
• Electrical hardware bring-up, integration, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
• Developing automated test frameworks using Python, C++, C#, LabVIEW, or similar.
• Writing and executing system integration, validation, qualification, and commissioning procedures.
• Integrating sensors, actuators, embedded electronics, power systems, and software.
• Working cross-functionally across electrical, controls, embedded, software, mechanical, and systems engineering.

They’re looking to build out their Integration & Test Engineering team responsible for testing infrastructure and integrating complex electrical systems from prototype through validation and commissioning. All seniorities are encouraged to apply (senior through management).

Requirements:
