Critical Loop is hiring a Test Engineer to own hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) infrastructure, production unit tests, and canary fleet procedures on-site in Long Beach, CA. You will build and maintain HITL testbeds for CLB5100 and beyond, ensuring testability and reliability from development to customer deployment.

You will craft test procedures, analyze results, and drive root-cause fixes with engineering and operations.

Formación

• Hands-on experience designing and operating hardware test setups.
• Background in power electronics or high-voltage systems.
• Authoring test procedures and operational standards with real contributions.
• Strong root cause analysis to resolve hardware issues end-to-end.
• Ability to read code, write scripts, and use git repositories.
• Bachelor’s degree in EE/ME or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to operate as the test engineering function with minimal setup.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain HITL testbeds for product lines (CLB5100, CLB5020).
• Develop and operate production unit test processes to catch issues early.
• Own canary fleet usage processes, tooling, and standards.
• Author and maintain test procedures and documentation as the truth source.
• Analyze test data and provide feedback to improve shipped hardware.
• Lead root cause analysis on hardware failures and edge cases.
• Collaborate with engineering and field ops to align test infra with deployment.
• Build the test engineering function from scratch.
