Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA, is seeking a Service Engineering Specialist II to join our Automation team. You will provide technical support for LV Drives, PLCs, HMIs, and related motor control solutions.

You will troubleshoot electrical and control issues, perform remote diagnostics, assist field service, and contribute to knowledge bases while delivering excellent customer support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3–7 years in industrial automation or related fields.
• Experience with LV drives, soft starters, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for WEG Automation products via phone, email, and remote connections.
• Troubleshoot electrical, control, programming, and communication issues using diagnostics.
• Perform remote diagnostics and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate on-site intervention with Field Service or Senior Support Engineers.
• Support Field Service Engineers with guidance and application expertise.
• Document interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the support database.
• Identify product non-conformities and support warranty investigations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality on field feedback.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge-base resources.
• Assist with customer training and onboarding.
• Participate in after-hours support rotation.
• Maintain knowledge of WEG products and emerging technologies.
• Deliver high level of customer service and manage expectations.
