Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA is seeking a Service Engineering Specialist II to join our Automation team. This role provides technical support for WEG Automation products, including LV drives, soft starters, PLCs, HMIs, and related motor control solutions.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform remote diagnostics, support field service, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and product management to resolve technical concerns and drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
3–7 years of experience in industrial automation, drives, controls.
Knowledge of LV drives, soft starters, motors, and industrial electrical systems.
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial communication networks.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote connection for WEG Automation products.
Troubleshoot electrical, control, programming, and communication issues using diagnostic processes.
Perform remote diagnostics to identify root causes and recommend actions.
Coordinate on-site intervention with Field Service or Senior Support Engineers.
Support Field Service Engineers with guidance, troubleshooting, and application expertise.
Document interactions and resolutions in the support database.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Product Management for feedback.
