Job summary

Ideal candidate has five years in electronics, including one year in a lead role. You will install, program, and troubleshoot automation systems, maintain detailed logs, and train technicians in advanced procedures and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or higher, and five (5) years of experience in the electronics technology field, diagnosing and repairing process control equipment and instruments, including one (1) year in a lead or supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and repair HMI and PLC systems in El Paso Water’s SCADA network.
• Troubleshoot SCADA system and network malfunctions and assist design of automated systems.
• Keep logs of upgrades, modifications, and repairs; maintain asset records.
• Mentor technicians on advanced troubleshooting and safety practices.
• Supervise assigned staff and coordinate with engineers on projects.
