Job summary

Under general supervision, perform and train employees in the installation, programming, and repair of PLCs, HMIs, and network devices in El Paso Water systems. The role includes supervising technicians, logging work, and ensuring safety and SOP compliance.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED plus 5 years in electronics tech, with 1 year in a lead role and a Texas Class C license. On-site work in El Paso, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of electronics technology experience diagnosing and repairing process control equipment.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Program network devices within El Paso Water's SCADA network.
• Design, install and configure HMI software and SCADA servers/workstations.
• Troubleshoot SCADA systems and network malfunctions; mentor technicians.
• Supervise assigned staff, schedule work, and enforce safety rules.
