Job summary
E Tech Group in Texas is seeking an Automation Engineer to lead and contribute to design of process automation control systems. You will define architecture, develop software, program PLC/SCADA, and support startup and commissioning across industries.
You will work with customers to understand their business, develop clear deliverables, and collaborate in a team focused on quality and reliability. This role is on-site and offers growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience or equivalent.
- Experience reading and interpreting control system electrical design packages.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting control systems and understanding of process controls.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation products (ControlLogix/CompactLogix, Studio 5000).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for systems of varying complexity.
- Evaluate and propose alternative system solutions meeting requirements.
- Modify logic using ladder, structured text, or function blocks.
- Gain proficiency in PLCs, HMIs, and DCS networks.
- Interact with customers to define scope, plans and deliverables.
- Collaborate in teams across wastewater, chemical, and discrete control projects.
- Advocate core values and support client and associate development.
