Job summary

Ocado Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our automated CFCs in North America. You’ll respond to faults, perform reactive and planned maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement projects in a highly automated facility.

The role requires experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance, data analysis, and CMMS systems, with the possibility of travel for training and startup support. Flexible shift patterns including days/nights/weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree in electrical or mechanical discipline or equivalent training.
• Minimum of three years' experience in the electrical or mechanical field.
• Experience performing electrical or mechanical maintenance including predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Experience diagnosing and documenting equipment breakdowns and repairs.
• Good communication and organizational skills; capable of prioritizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical planned maintenance across the site safely and on time.
• Update records of work, parts used, and training provided.
• Perform assembly and sub-assembly repairs per instructions and schematics.
• Diagnose equipment breakdowns and implement repairs.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of equipment daily.
• Analyze data to improve MHE performance and generate reports.
• Complete quality inspections ensuring safe working standards.
