Job summary

Ocado Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform electrical and mechanical planned maintenance at our high-automation Customer Fulfillment Center. You will diagnose faults, execute repairs, and maintain records, while supporting continuous improvement projects in a 24/7 operation with potential travel to North America or the UK for training.

Candidates should have an Associate's or Vocational degree in electrical or mechanical disciplines and at least three years of related experience,

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree in electrical or mechanical discipline or advanced training.
• Minimum of three years experience.
• Two years direct experience in mechanical or electrical field.
• Experience carrying out electrical or mechanical maintenance including preventive maintenance.
• Experience diagnosing and documenting equipment breakdowns and repairs.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to impart knowledge.
• Able to prioritize and stay organized.
• Comfortable working at heights with various access equipment.
• Experience with automation hardware and software.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical planned maintenance across the site.
• Update records of work activities, parts used, and training given.
• Perform assembly and sub-assembly repairs from instructions and schematics.
• Diagnose equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain daily housekeeping and equipment cleanliness.
• Analyze data to improve MHE performance and produce reports.
• Complete quality inspections ensuring safety standards.
• Assist management as required; training may be required.
