Job summary

Ocado Group is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead reactive and proactive maintenance on mechanical handling equipment at a Customer Fulfillment Center. You will react to breakdowns, analyze faults, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

The role requires an Associate's or Vocational degree in electrical/mechanical disciplines and at least five years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree in electrical or mechanical discipline or advanced training.

Responsibilities

• Respond to MHE breakdowns (mechanical and electrical) and repair quickly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of work activities, parts used, and tasks completed.
• Coordinate with inbound, pick, and dispatch teams to align labor with maintenance plans.
• Mentor and guide assigned Maintenance Engineers on priorities and best practices.
• Perform assembly and sub-assembly repairs following blueprints and instructions.
• Work with other departments to improve machine reliability and diagnose faults.
• Attend meetings to analyze data and drive equipment performance improvements.
• Contribute to installation, commissioning, and project work as needed.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure safe workmanship.
