Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Billings, MT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and specialized maintenance of a large automated laundry facility. The role emphasizes automation/control systems and safety compliance to ensure reliable operation of equipment and wastewater/power plant systems.

You will work with a team to document repairs using a PM system, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime while meeting safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; boiler operator license and wastewater certification preferred.
• Experience with electric schematics and low voltage troubleshooting is important.
• Familiarity with CMMS and safety compliance standards (LOTO, hot work, confined space).
• Driver's license is required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GM and management to support facility operations.
• Use a PM program daily to document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with emphasis on automation and control systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and wastewater requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
