Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the automated laundry facility. You will perform preventative and specialized maintenance to ensure safe, cost-effective operation of facility and equipment, including wastewater and power plant systems, while collaborating with plant personnel.

The role requires 2+ years industrial maintenance experience, electrical/controls knowledge, and compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, or mechanical systems.
• 2+ years industrial maintenance.
• Electric schematics.
• Low voltage troubleshooting.
• Controls.
• Steam/boiler operation.
• Hydraulics.
• Pneumatics.
• Safety compliance (LOTO, hot work, confined space).
• Wastewater treatment.
• Boiler operator license (if required).
• Wastewater certification (if required).
• Computerized preventive maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the GM, Production Management, and other operational partners to support facility operations.
• Use a computerized PM program daily to document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with emphasis on automation and controls.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental requirements, and wastewater systems; document accordingly.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
