Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an automated laundry facility. The role involves preventative and specialized maintenance to ensure safe, cost-effective operation of the plant and its equipment, including wastewater systems and power plant equipment.

You will collaborate with plant personnel, use PM programs daily, troubleshoot automation and control systems, and maintain safety and environmental compliance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent; additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems preferred.
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Skills include electric schematics, low voltage troubleshooting, controls, steam/boiler operation, hydraulics, pneumatics, safety compliance (LOTO, hot work, confined space) and wastewater treatment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GM, Production Management and operations partners to support facility operations.
• Use a computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment with emphasis on automation and control systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental requirements and wastewater compliance; document and maintain records.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
