Job summary

Alsco Uniforms operates an automated laundry facility in the United States. The Maintenance Technician performs preventative and specialized maintenance of the facility and its equipment, ensuring maintenance compliance with regulations and policies.

You will collaborate with plant personnel to improve performance, document repairs with a PM program, and troubleshoot automation and control systems to keep operations safe and cost-effective.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Electrical and mechanical systems knowledge.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (LOTO, hot work, confined space).
• Boiler operation and wastewater treatment certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager, Production Management team, and other key operational partners to support facility operations.
• Use a computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) program daily to document repairs, complete maintenance activities, and respond promptly to equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with an emphasis on automation and control systems.
• Maintain compliance with operational, safety, and environmental requirements by completing safety training, recording and retaining required documentation, supporting wastewater compliance, and maintaining computerized maintenance records.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and infrastructure to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
