Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Billings, MT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and specialized maintenance within an automated laundry facility. The role emphasizes safe and cost-effective operation, wastewater systems, and power plant equipment, with collaboration across plant teams.

You will diagnose, repair and maintain equipment, document activities in the PM system, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements; a strong team orientation is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems preferred.
• 2+ years industrial maintenance work experience.
• Proficiency with electric schematics, low voltage troubleshooting, controls, steam/boiler operation, hydraulics, pneumatics, safety compliance (LOTO, hot work, confined space) and wastewater treatment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with General Manager, Production Management and partners to support facility operations.
• Use a computerized PM program daily to document repairs, complete maintenance activities, and respond to equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment focusing on automation and controls.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental requirements and wastewater regulations; document and retain records.
