Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and specialized maintenance in an automated laundry facility. You will ensure the safe, cost-effective operation of equipment, including wastewater systems and power plant equipment, and work with plant personnel to improve performance.

This role requires 2+ years of industrial maintenance, knowledge of control systems, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems preferred.
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Boiler operator license and wastewater certification are preferred when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager, Production Management team, and other operational partners to support facility operations.
• Use a computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) program daily to document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with emphasis on automation and control systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and operational requirements by training, documenting, and retaining required records.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
