Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Chicago facility. The role focuses on preventative and specialized maintenance of the laundry operations, including automation and control systems, to ensure safe and cost-effective operation.

You will work with plant personnel to improve equipment performance, document repairs in the PM program, and uphold safety and wastewater compliance standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and low voltage troubleshooting.
• Experience with boilers, wastewater treatment, and safety compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with General Manager and Production team to support facility operations.
• Use the PM system daily to document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment with emphasis on automation and controls.
• Maintain safety, environmental compliance, and write maintenance records.
