Job summary

Carolina Handling, LLC is a leading automation systems integrator serving warehouses and manufacturers. We seek field technicians to service lift trucks, perform installations and repairs, and support customers directly in the field.

You will troubleshoot electro‑mechanical equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety and professionalism on every site. Daily travel to customer sites is required, with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of maintenance/repair/installation experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and electronics; able to read schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting: identify and diagnose electro‑mechanical problems and perform installations and repairs as needed.
• Customer Interaction: communicate with customers to understand concerns and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Professionalism: maintain a professional demeanor and foster goodwill with customers.
• Repair Work: execute repairs efficiently and address situations promptly and professionally.
• Scheduled Maintenance: perform scheduled maintenance for contracted customers per company policies.
• Inventory Management: track parts and supplies in service van and ensure resources for tasks.
• Van Maintenance: keep service van maintained and stocked with equipment.
• Safety Compliance: follow safety guidelines at customer sites and prioritize safety.
• Perform any other duties to support operations.
