Job summary

Carolina Handling, LLC is a leading automation systems integrator serving warehouses and manufacturers. The Field Technician will diagnose electro‑mechanical issues, install and repair equipment, and act as a primary contact for customers in the field.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, scheduled maintenance, inventory control, van upkeep, and strict safety adherence. A valid driver's license, HS diploma, and 1–3 years of related experience are preferred; travel is required.

Qualifications

• Background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle record checks required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in maintenance, repair, or installation preferred; strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and electronics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems, installing and repairing equipment.
• Interacting with customers to understand concerns and resolve issues.
• Maintaining a professional demeanour and representing the company well.
• Performing repairs efficiently and addressing issues promptly.
• Carrying out scheduled maintenance for contracted customers.
• Keeping track of parts and supplies inventory in the service van.
• Ensuring the service van is maintained and stocked.
• Adhering to safety guidelines at customer sites and performing other duties as needed.
