Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Automation Engineer to support the site maintenance team in optimizing Material Handling Equipment control systems, including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, and HMIs.

You will lead troubleshooting, modify software projects, and collaborate with operations to implement new technology while maintaining a safe, climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with HMIs, PLCs, and VFDs
• Experience with SCADA, KPIs, and electrical drawings interpretation
• Experience with conveyors and sortation systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and modify software for material handling control systems
• Proven ability to collaborate with maintenance and operations teams

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures
• Maintain material handling control systems and electrical distribution systems
• Troubleshoot and modify software for PLC/PC controllers and Rockwell platforms
• Provide escalation support for equipment automation issues
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for capital projects
• Communicate project timelines and impacts to operations leadership
