Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to lead and support maintenance optimization for automated material handling equipment (MHE) at a major client site.

You will apply advanced controls/automation knowledge to improve reliability, lead commissioning and training, and coordinate resources across maintenance and operations. This role focuses on PLC/PC controllers, SCADA networks, and integration of conveyance and sortation systems.

Qualifications

• Lead and support routine maintenance optimization for automated material handling equipment (MHE) systems.
• Conduct failure analysis and implement improvements to prevent recurrences.
• Coordinate resources for commissioning, training, installation, and operations.
• Provide expert-level technical support for MHE systems including PLC/SCADA and networking.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by complying with codes, regulations, and company directives.
• Support MHE system optimization and project implementation with stakeholders.
• Manage controls-related budget for the site.
• Perform failure analyses and implement process improvements to reduce incidents.
• Engineer solutions and reliability improvements from concept to network implementation.
