Job summary

Ericsson Inc. seeks an Automated Operations Intern to support monitoring and maintenance of telecom networks in Plano, TX. The role offers hands-on exposure to incident response, SLA performance, and operations tooling over a 12‑week program.

You will work with engineers to automate maintenance tasks, build AI use cases, and gain experience across network monitoring, logs analysis, and change management under supervision.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program full-time.
• Minimum GPA 2.7+ or equivalent with transcripts uploaded.
• Available for a full-time 12-week internship in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation of maintenance tasks using Python, Bash, Groovy and Java.
• Monitor alarms and events; classify and escalate issues to teams.
• Assist incident tracking, troubleshooting, and status reporting under supervision.
• Learn core network and RAN monitoring and maintenance processes.
• Contribute to playbooks, scripts, and dashboard improvements for ops efficiency.
