Job summary

Novo Nordisk in North Carolina seeks a Process Controls Engineer to join the FFEx team. You will ensure new processes and equipment comply with URS and IFA standards, and collaborate with local and global teams to meet installation and qualification requirements.

You will drive reliability improvements in process control systems, manage vendor interfaces, and support ramp-up activities while applying cLEAN® / Six Sigma methodologies and maintaining a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering/related field required.
• Minimum seven years engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility, or packaging systems required.
• Logistics roles: Warehouse automation equipment preferred (AS/RS, AGVs, AMRs, conveyors).
• Knowledgeable in SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL, Historian; SAP EWM a plus.
• Ability to plan, organize, and execute projects using cLEAN® / Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure process design complies with local and global standards.
• Develop interface agreements with equipment vendors.
• Develop and implement plans to maintain and improve process control systems.
• Coordinate with manufacturing schedules to execute plans.
• Support audits and inspections as SME for process control systems.
• Coach and train colleagues and stakeholders in relevant areas.
• Apply cLEAN® / Six Sigma project management within projects.
• Follow safety and environmental requirements.
