Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Durham, NC is seeking an IT/Engineering professional to ensure reliable operation of local manufacturing applications and to improve the reliability of process control systems to meet regulatory and production goals.

You will collaborate with shop floor and corporate teams, coordinate software upgrades, support audits as SME, and drive continuous improvement using cLEAN tools while adhering to quality risk management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/engineering or related field.
5+ years IT or engineering experience in process manufacturing, utilities or packaging systems.
Knowledge of PAS-X, POInT, PLC, SCADA preferred.
Proven expertise in planning, organization & project execution is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure reliable operation of identified local manufacturing applications and improve process control system reliability to meet regulatory and production requirements.
Collaborate with production and corporate teams to manage continuous improvement initiatives and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Coordinate software upgrades and releases to applicable systems; support audits and inspections as SME for process applications.
Coach and train colleagues and stakeholders in relevant areas; maintain process application standards, specifications and maintenance plans.
