Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking an experienced engineer to join Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx) in our US manufacturing network. You will partner with stakeholders to ensure process control systems align with local and global standards, specify equipment IFA's, and support automation projects across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Associate's degree with 5 years of engineering experience in process-based manufacturing.
• High School/GED with 7 years of engineering experience in process-based manufacturing.
• Minimum of 3 years engineering experience in process-based manufacturing.
• Logistics roles: warehouse automation equipment a plus.
• Knowledgeable in SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL, Historian; SAP EWM a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support plans to maintain and improve process control systems.
• Schedule and execute plans in coordination with manufacturing.
• Operate as automation resource on projects involving process control systems.
• Adhere to automation standards and update related specs & maintenance plans.
• Support audits and inspections for process control systems.
• Use cLEAN®/Six Sigma tools for process improvement and project management.
• Ensure compliance with a Quality Mindset and risk management.
• Collaborate with Corporate, PS, local IT and stakeholders on initiatives.
• Contribute to SOP development, best practices, and maintenance procedures.
• Follow safety and environmental requirements in duties.
