Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC seeks a seasoned engineer to ensure process equipment and control systems meet global standards and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with local and global teams to design, qualify, and ramp up new equipment and processes, driving reliability and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in process manufacturing, strong project management, and expertise in SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, and SQL databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering/related field from an accredited university required.
• Minimum of five (5) years engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility, & packaging systems.
• Knowledgeable in SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL, Historian; SAP EWM a plus.
• Ability to translate high level direction into actionable tasks using cLEAN® / Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure process design is compliant with local and global standards.
• Develop and implement plans to maintain and improve process control systems.
• Support audits and inspections as SME for process control systems.
• Coach and train colleagues in relevant areas and drive project execution.
