Job summary

Serval is hiring an Automation Engineer to design and build in-customer AI agents that automate onboarding, access requests, and service-desk tasks within customer environments.

You will integrate Serval with customer systems like Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, ServiceNow, and Workday to deliver end-to-end automations. You’ll work with IT, HR, Security, and Finance to surface real processes and convert them into scalable, repeatable patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience with API integration and building automation of multi-system workflows.
• Ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to run working sessions and gather requirements.
• Comfort learning new software quickly and working independently across several customer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automations and AI agents inside customer Serval instances (onboarding, access requests, etc.).
• Connect Serval with customer systems (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, ServiceNow, Workday) to complete end-to-end automations.
• Collaborate with IT, HR, Finance, and Legal to extract real processes and translate them into buildable solutions.
• Enable customers to reuse patterns and empower their teams to extend automations after deployment.
• Partner with Deployment to achieve milestones, surface risks early, and guide use cases to success.
