Job summary

Serval is hiring a Finance Automation Engineer to lead the finance transformation and build Serval-first agents that unify data across ERP, CRM and spend tools. You will automate reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and close tasks, delivering a trusted, auditable data layer for leadership.

We’re looking for 6–10 years of experience, strong SQL/Python, and hands-on AI build experience. You’ll partner with Finance, RevOps, Engineering and Leadership to shorten the close and enable faster

Qualifications

Experience leading finance transformation initiatives and automation projects.
Ability to design scalable data models and automated workflows.
Strong work history in accounting or finance operations with systems integration.

Responsibilities

Lead finance transformation: map workflows, backlog, and automation opportunities.
Build Serval-first agents for reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and close tasks.
Own project plans, milestones, risks, and communicate status to leadership.
Integrate finance data from ERP, CRM, billing and spend tools into a single data layer.
Run and automate corporate accounting close tasks and related operations.
