Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Lisle, IL is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a 3rd shift with overtime opportunities. The role involves installing, wiring, and troubleshooting PLCs, servo drives, and HMI interfaces for packaging and production equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, read electrical schematics, and ensure safety procedures are followed, including lockout/tagout. In-person on-site work with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrated experience with PLCs and servo systems.
Familiarity with lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
Experience maintaining packaging equipment in manufacturing.
Proficient reading electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, configuration and troubleshooting of photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O, and related control wiring.
Troubleshoot analog and digital controls with 480V, 3‑phase power, motors, VFDs, servo drives and soft starts.
Maintain and troubleshoot encoders and load cells.
Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces.
Modify PLC control logic using ladder logic.
Diagnose HMI/graphic interfaces and communication protocols (Profibus, serial, industrial Ethernet).
Troubleshoot electrical schematics and equipment issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles, conveyors and production equipment.
