Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking an experienced technician to install, configure and troubleshoot control systems in a manufacturing setting. You will work on PLCs, servo drives, encoders and HMI interfaces to keep production running.

The role requires PLC programming, wiring, and ladder logic changes, plus the ability to diagnose Profibus and industrial Ethernet. Overtime, 2nd/3rd shift availability, and relocation assistance are offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with PLCs required.
Proficiency with servo systems and encoders preferred.
Experience with packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge of safety procedures (lockout/tagout, confined spaces) preferred.
PLC programming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, configure and troubleshoot PLC input/output modules and control wiring.
Troubleshoot analog/digital controls in 480V 3-phase power systems (motors, drives).
Maintain and troubleshoot encoders, load cells and feedback devices.
Program PLC and HMI interfaces; modify ladder logic.
Diagnose communication protocols (Profibus, serial, Ethernet).
Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors and production equipment.
