Electrical Automation Services in Geneva, IL is seeking a skilled technician to install, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, and motion hardware. The role involves work with 480V, 3-phase power, servo drives, VFDs, and HMI interfaces on a 3rd shift.

You will ladder-program PLCs, verify wiring, and diagnose equipment on packaging lines, conveyors, and lasers. Relocation assistance and overtime are offered with strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Must have PLC experience and servo systems.
• Strong ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience with 480V 3-phase power distribution.
• Ladder logic programming experience.
• Safety procedures knowledge (LOTO, PPE).
• Proficiency with encoders, servomotors, and amplifiers.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity and limit switches.
• Troubleshoot analog and digital controls and control wiring.
• Program PLCs and HMIs; modify ladder logic.
• Maintain position feedback devices: encoders and load cells.
• Diagnose using schematics; support preventive maintenance.
