Job summary

HealthBridge Financial, Inc. is seeking a highly technical, hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations, improve close speed and accuracy, and scale processes for a growing healthcare receivables finance platform.

The ideal candidate has healthcare finance or receivables purchasing experience, strong systems skills (Sage Intacct, Brex, Amazon QuickSight), and a proven ability to automate and simplify work across finance and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with close and financial reporting.
• Healthcare finance, receivables purchasing, factoring, specialty finance, or lending experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and drive continuous improvements in close speed, accuracy, and scalability.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including GL integrity, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation; partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and third-party providers.
• Own and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast, including scenario analysis and forecast-to-actual assessment.
• Build scalable workflows and reporting using Sage Intacct, Brex, and Amazon QuickSight; automate processes and data flows across systems.
