Job summary

Ciena, a global leader in high-speed connectivity, is seeking a Compliance professional to join the Corporate Compliance & Ethics team. You will help operationalize and automate controls, translate regulatory requirements into scalable processes, and drive data-driven decisions across the organization.

The role focuses on developing dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting, while partnering with internal stakeholders and vendors to implement system enhancements and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Ethics, Technology, Data or related area.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Compliance, Ethics, Risk Management, Internal Controls, Legal Operations, or related.
• Experience supporting compliance programs within a multinational public company.
• Experience administering and optimizing compliance technology platforms and workflows.
• Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner across the business to operationalize, automate, and refine compliance controls and workflows.
• Translate policy and regulatory requirements into sustainable, measurable operational processes.
• Develop standardized processes, documentation, and workflows supporting compliance operations.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve workflow efficiency.
• Analyze data and report findings for internal audits, investigations, risk assessments, and regulatory inquiries.
• Administer compliance operational systems and technology platforms.
• Partner internally and with vendors to design, test, validate, and deploy system changes, integrations, upgrades, and improvements.
