Job summary

Ramp is seeking a senior investigator to scale its AI-enabled compliance systems. You’ll partner with Engineering to turn judgment into scalable processes, calibrate model outputs, and govern automated decisions.

The role blends deep investigations with building repeatable, auditable AI tooling and workflows across TM, sanctions, and EDD. You will work closely with FCC leadership to drive robust automation while staying grounded in day-to-day workflows and risk controls, delivering durable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial services experience in compliance, AML, or related regulatory advisory roles.
• Senior-investigator experience across TM Alerts, AML Investigations, Complex Fraud, and EDD Reviews.
• Direct experience testing, labeling, or evaluating AI/ML model outputs or strong aptitude to ramp up quickly.
• Strong AI fluency and data analytics skills.
• Comfort partnering with engineers and translating compliance judgment into build specs and tests.
• Strong project management and documentation rigor.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering and the Head of FCC Tooling on automation experimentation and AI initiatives.
• Design and run labeling and tagging workflows for model outputs with a documented pipeline.
• Define and maintain test sets, scenario coverage, and evaluation frameworks for compliance AI tools.
• Own the documentation and governance layer for every automated or AI-assisted decision point.
• Work with the FCC team to understand workflows and guide innovative solutions.
• Recommend automation and AI adoption decisions with evidence and governance considerations.
