ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, a global leader in automated pedestrian door solutions, is seeking an Installation Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade a variety of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• AAADM certification within 12 months of employment and ongoing certification maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring.
• Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
• Valid drivere209f license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors, providing exceptional service.
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting door components weighing up to 110 pounds (with lifting aids) occasionally.
