Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automatic pedestrian doors at customer sites. You’ll handle mechanical and electrical issues, work with glazing and aluminum frames, and maintain clear communication with clients.

The role emphasizes safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork, with opportunities for ongoing training and AAADM certification within one year of employment. A company vehicle and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring (120V).
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Strong commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repairs, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical issues and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors.
• Participate in training programs and AAADM certification.
