Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is hiring an Installation Technician to deliver service and installation of automatic pedestrian doors. You will diagnose, repair, and upgrade sliding, swinging, and rotating doors while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities include documenting site conditions, performing planned maintenance, and coordinating with contractors. A 3–5 year background in storefront/door installation and AAADM readiness within 6–12 months is expected.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with ability to repair electro‑mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage wiring (120v) with access-control awareness.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and installation of automated pedestrian doors per manufacturer procedures.
• Document time, issues, shortages and site conditions clearly.
• Maintain safety and wear PPE as required.
• Perform planned maintenance, break‑fix repairs, and upgrades.
• Diagnose electro‑mechanical, electrical, and relay logic problems.
• Operate with aluminum frames, glazing, hardware, and low‑voltage wiring.
• Communicate professionally with customers and contractors.
