Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems in Louisville, KY, is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade a range of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors at customer sites. You will perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices and low-voltage wiring, and communicate professionally with customers and contractors.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 110 pounds; AAADM certification training is provided upon

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and experience repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring (120V).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, and aluminum frames preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors.
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
