Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You will handle sliding, swinging, and rotating doors while delivering high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro‑mechanical devices.
• Must be able to obtain AAADM certification within twelve months of employment.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage wiring.
• Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro‑mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low‑voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
• Participate in on‑call rotations after certification and training.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting components up to 110 pounds with lifting aids.
