Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems seeks a Service Technician to deliver maintenance, diagnostics, and upgrades for automated pedestrian doors. You will diagnose and repair sliding, swinging, and rotating doors and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Role focuses on safety, efficiency, and reliability, with on-site field work and potential on-call rotations after training and AAADM certification.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for repairs of electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring (120V).
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames and hardware preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Strong commitment to safety, customer satisfaction and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users and contractors.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs).
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
