Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking an Installation Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade a variety of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors. You will ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to safety standards.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in storefront or related installation work, AAADM certification within six months, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this role in Auburn, MA.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in storefront doors, glazing, or related field.
• Experience with aluminum frames and hardware is preferred.
• Able to read and follow installation procedures and docs.
• Knowledge of low-voltage wiring (120V) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and installation per manufacturers’ procedures.
• Document time and issues clearly on job-site.
• Maintain safety and use PPE as required.
• Install and service sliding, swinging, and rotating doors.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices and relay logic.
• Work with glazing, aluminum frames, and hardware.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors.
• Participate in training programs and certifications.
• Take on on-call rotations after training.
