Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking an Installation Technician to deliver, install, diagnose, and repair automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You will ensure safety, proper documentation, and high customer satisfaction while working with aluminum frames, glazing, and hardware.

The role requires 3–5 years of direct installation experience, AAADM certification within six months, a valid driver’s license, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of direct storefront/door installation experience.
• Must obtain AAADM certification within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to lift up to 110 pounds with or without assistance.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong safety orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Install and service sliding, swinging, and rotating doors per manufacturer specs.
• Document time, issues, and site conditions with detailed notes.
• Maintain safety and PPE; protect self, coworkers, contractors, and public.
• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix, and upgrades on doors at customer sites.
• Diagnose electro-mechanical issues and troubleshoot electrical circuits.
