ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions is seeking an Installation Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade a range of automated doors. You will perform on‑site service, document issues, and ensure safety and high customer satisfaction across healthcare, transportation, and retail sectors.

The role requires 3–5 years in door installation or related fields, AAADM certification within six months, a valid driver’s license, and strong mechanical/electrical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain AAADM certification within six months and maintain it.
• Mechanical aptitude with repair experience on electro‑mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage wiring.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and installation of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors per manufacturer procedures.
• Document time on site and detail problems, shortages, and inefficiencies.
• Work safely to protect coworkers, contractors, customers and property.
• Operate with PPE and maintain professional communication with customers.
• Participate in training and on‑call rotations after certification.
