Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems seeks an Installation Technician to install, service, and upgrade a range of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure customer satisfaction through professional service.

The role requires 3–5 years of door installation/related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain AAADM certification within six months. Emphasis on safety and teamwork in a dynamic, field-based environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in direct industry, storefront doors, glazing, aluminum frames, hardware or related fields.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring (120V).
• Must be able to obtain AAADM certification within 6 months and maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and installation following manufacturer procedures and specs.
• Document time, problems, shortages, and inefficiencies in job-site conditions.
• Work safely to prevent accidents for yourself, coworkers, contractors, and the public.
