Job summary

Graybar in the United States seeks a senior automation sales leader to grow automation/control sales within the assigned territory. You will lead and develop a high-tech team, collaborating with customers, suppliers, and Graybar personnel to identify opportunities and secure orders.

The role requires 11+ years in automation sales and management experience is preferred, with travel across the territory. A four-year degree is preferred in Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field.

Qualifications

• 11+ years in automation/control sales; management experience preferred.
• 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Business or related field preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop business plans to grow automation market in the territory.
• Oversee development of new automation/control customers.
• Build automation team for pre/post-sales support.
• Drive automation specifications within territory.
• Evaluate automation trends and identify opportunities/risks.
• Maintain relationships with key automation customers and suppliers.
• Partner with local management and sales staff.
• Develop tools and training to support automation opportunities.
• Participate in Schneider Electric IAD program requirements.
