Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Residential Driver to safely and courteously provide waste removal services.

You will operate a fully automated side loading truck on curbside and backdoor routes, collecting solid waste or recyclables and transporting to post-collection facilities. Responsibilities include completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining route quality, documenting services, and communicating vehicle issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Possess valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum two (2) years of commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate
• High school diploma or GED desired

Responsibilities

• Operate a fully automated side loading truck to collect solid waste on route.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain route quality standards as predetermined by management.
• Attend safety and branch meetings.
• May be required to work overtime.
