The role requires safe operation, routine inspections, and courteous customer service along busy roadways. The position emphasizes adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements, with responsibilities including log maintenance and timely reporting of issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must be able to meet safety-sensitive criteria as per company standards.
• Must be able to safely operate the truck and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste and transfer to facilities.
• Open container enclosures or gates to access cans and roll 3-4 yard cans into dumping position.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers along the route and notify supervision of issues.
• Maintain and submit logs, route/productivity sheets, and post-trip inspection reports as required.
